Wedding favors for your male guests will undoubtedly send a more personal message to thank them for attending. If you have a number of male guests that are into golf, and many males are, then thank them with inexpensive golf balls, which will be very much appreciated. The idea is to wrap each one, place a thank you tag on them, and then place them in a large decorated basket at the entrance of the reception area. This allows the guests to receive their thank you immediately upon arrival.
They will be quite pleased with the fact that they are receiving something practical that can be used later.
Golf balls can be purchased fairly inexpensively. Scout out a nearby sporting goods store and look for sales. You can also look online and buy them by the dozen. Check around and compare as many online sites that will even print them for you, then consider if this is really necessary. If your golf friends are collectors and will place them in a collaction fine, but typically from a practical stand point, they will want to use them. You can purchase golf balls at local discount stores fairly reasonably.
Of course don’t purchase them until you have a good wedding favor count of your male guests, and don’t forget to include the fathers and bridal party. They will want one too!

Items Required:
In this case, let the males see what they are getting and wrap the wedding favors only in tulle or ribbon. Men generally don’t require the elegance of a wrapping. So, save your money.
Directions:
Making the tag:
Using copy paste after you have written the first wedding favor tag, repeat down the page, print and cut out. Leave room in the upper left corner to punch a hole.
3. Punch a small hole in the upper left corner and slip the ribbon through to tie on tag. Tie tag carefully and lightly as to not rip the paper.
ALTERNATIVE: You could also tape the tag on the wedding favor.
Example: “Our sincerest thank you for sharing in our special day.
Please accept this gift as a token of our appreciation,
as it is especially “4- Four” you.
We hope that you will enjoy the day.”
In this case 4-four being a word used to associate with the favor
The wording can be anything. Try to make associate it to the gift in some special way.
Finally, you need to decide where the wedding favors will be placed. They could be placed on the dinner plate, or on the tables. Try placing them in a basket at the entrance. For directions on basket ideas and decorations see basket decorating.(Coming soon) If placing on tables, remember how your male/female guests will be seated. If you have a table that is all male or vice versa, you will want to place wedding favors accordingly.
Remember the pluses of placing them in baskets at the entrance. They can be filled ahead of time and brought to the reception. If not, someone will need to be charged with the placement on tables and know exactly where everyone will be seated.
Don’t forget the thank you message you are sending as soon as your guests arrive if placed at the entrance. Furthermore, by placing at the entrance many guests forget their favors at the tables, this way if forgotten they can pick one up on their way out as well.
