Wedding Decorations Napkin Folding
Wedding decorations take on many forms. Napkin folding is one way to add flare to your event.
Whether you will be taking care of table settings or having someone else do this for you. There are many ways to 
fold napkins for your guest tables. Napkins add a touch of formality to any event, but can be folded in a number of ways to appear less formal if your event is informal. Regardless, napkins are a requirement and etiquette when serving guests.
The napkin folding directions here are for the tulip fold. This is a stylish combination when using napkin rings. When considering what color napkins you will be using consider the color of the ring itself so that it will stand out. Typically if going to a reception hall, you will have numerous color choices for your napkins. Pick something that goes with your color scheme and of course make sure that the napkin rings you will make, will stand out on the napkin.
If going for a less formal affair you can still use this folding and napkin rings. What you will want to do, is place something whimsical on the napkin ring to match the theme. For instance if you are having a tropical style wedding you might place a shell on the ring. If going with a Victorian style, try to find some tiny shoes to glue on them. If you are a free spirit and of the Harley motorcycle style, try and find small motorcycles and glue on them. This keeps with 
etiquette and adds a fun, less formal appeal.
Directions for folding the napkin: EASY EASY EASY
1. Lay the napkin flat on the table
2. Fold the napkin from corner to corner, making edges even.
With the triangle point at top and flat folded edge at bottom
3. Take the lower right corner and bring it up to the left corner (this will make two points)–see picture
4. Take the lower left corner and bring it up to the right corner (this will now make three points at the top) see picture
5. Going back to the right side fold in again about half way (see picture)
6. Repeat for the left side. (see picture)
7. Fold over one more time!
8. Place the ring over the napkin – and VOILA – PERFECT ELEGANCE!!!
The example on the plate has a military button on it, nice idea for a military wedding!
