Wedding Table Decorations

Wedding table decorations in blue... Long tables are not hard to make look elegant. Using fabric, flowers, candles and ivy, you can make a long table look just as regal as a round. Most people prefer rounds because it is easier to carry on conversations, but when often times for space reasons long tables must be used. Not to worry, they can be decorated beautifully and for little money.

TABLE COVERINGS -

8' Rectangle -

1. I used a piece of cheap cotton white fabric as the base.

2. Down the center I ran two pieces of lame'- shiny blue fabric -drape and ruffle slightly.

3. Using a ribbon of your choice, gently tie a bow around center of lame', "scrunching" slightly.

4. Next, place three candles and holders on the table, one in the center and one on each end.

5. Next place a small piece of ivy around the base of the candle stick holders.

6. Drop some flowers on the table and voila!

Note: This is a 6' foot table for illustration and even on an 8' foot I would follow the same, 3 candles, etc. There is still plenty of room for dinner plate, silverware, glasses, bread plate, etc.
